To celebrate ART_020’s first year, we offer all our first year art collectors (September 2021 – September 2022), a complimentary two hour guided art historian boat ride for two persons. ART_020’s fully electric canal sloep takes you along Amsterdam’s remarkable art history of the past four centuries. It emphazises the importance of our Dutch art heritage which is continued by the artists currently represented by ART_020.

Knowing the artist behind a beautiful artwork makes a big difference in further appreciating their art. When an artist invites you into their creative sanctum sanctorum it is one of the most intimate and sensitive encounters. Our videos come very close to this experience. The only senses that are missing is the tang of turpentine or the tactile temptation to touch….
Given the current circumstances we felt the necessity to film each of the artists that we believe in and are represented by ART_020. So please dive into their worlds and gain more insight and understanding of their work.

About ART_020
ART_020 represents a unique collection of curated art by award winning artists who live and work in the Amsterdam area. The vibrant local art scene of Amsterdam harbours a great number of interesting painters, sculptors and photographers, from emerging to well acclaimed, whose talents may not always be known outside The Netherlands. It is our mission to create an international stage for the best Dutch contemporary art through exhibiting at international art fairs and other events around Europe.
We will be excited to show you our selection of the most intriguing and inspiring works by these Amsterdam based artists. As these works were selected with great care through artists’ studio visits, and can usually be offered at still affordable prices, we trust we have something interesting to offer for all art lovers, whether they are collectors or simply share our passion for contemporary art.

If any of the works shown on our website should interest you, please let us know, so we can send you complimentary entrance tickets and welcome you at our stand during the next art fair. If that should not fit your schedule, we would be happy to set up a visit or help you acquire the work of your choice at your convenience. Unfortunately we had to decide to postpone the exhibition – scheduled to open on November 12th – to further notice, due to the new RIVM regulations. However we understand that despite of this, the interest and desire to enjoy art is stronger than ever!
Therefore and we have developed an alternative plan:
you can view the artist’s work by appointment on two locations; at ART_020 where you can enjoy a limited collection of all artists represented by us.
Alternatively, we can set up a visit at the artist’s studio, which is a special experience at itself.
If you live outside The Netherlands we can send you a video of the artist with the work(s) of your interest, allowing you to see the artwork from all directions.
